Northern European Sales Account Manager
Position Overview
Our client is a distinguished leader in providing innovative aviation interior parts solutions and services. They specialise in delivering high-quality products and comprehensive support across various sectors within the aviation industry, serving over 80 customers including commercial airlines, private operators, and maintenance providers. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has positioned them as a trusted partner in the aviation domain.
This role requires frequent travel, with an expectation of approximately 50% of your time spent on the road, engaging with clients across Northern Europe. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and reside within a commutable distance of our client’s office in Fareham, Hampshire, although hybrid working arrangements will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the aviation industry.
- Prepare and present detailed sales proposals and contracts to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform and enhance sales strategies.
- Meet and exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.
- Provide regular and comprehensive reports on account status and sales performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales account management, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform sales strategies effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.

Part 145 Sales Development Manager
Location: Office Based
Reports to: Global Sales Director
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent 40 hours per week
Job Summary
The Part 145 Sales Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business growth in the Part 145 maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector. The role will involve identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aviation industry, particularly in Part 145 regulations, and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure revenue in line with annual plan.
- Develop our client’s Part 145 sales strategy.
- Act as the companies subject matter expert on Part 145 repairs and regulatory information.
- Quote customers for repairs, managing commercial process to ensure business targets and margins are met.
- Ensure CRM and MRP systems are up to date with current customer information, next steps and opportunities.
Business Development
- Grow 145 department sales to £1m per annum by end of 2026 Financial Year.
- Manage customer commercial process from end to end.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the Part 145 MRO sector.
- Research and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts.
- Primarily office based but with occasional European travel (once per month). Travel is likely to be within the M25 area in the UK.
Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to influence product/service offering development.
Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Part 145 regulations and ensure compliance in all sales activities.
- Keep abreast of industry changes, regulatory updates, and best practices.
Skills
