Due to the expansion PAL are looking for a cabin interiors Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
The successful candidate must have the aptitude to progress to hold the position of Chief of the
Office of Airworthiness. The CVE reports to the Design Office manager.
The successful candidate’s main duties will be to;

 Review and control the documents produced by the Design Engineer in respect to the
Certification requirements.
 Control the correctness and completeness of the Engineering and Certification documents
that are created by the Part 21 Design Engineer.
 Compile aircraft level modifications to include test reports and witness tests.
 Ensure that Design Data comply with the Project Work Scope and implement required
Engineering Changes in a timely and cost effective manner.
 Compliance Verification – review and ensure that the Means of Compliance presented by the
Design Engineer are correct and complete according to the applicable Airworthiness
Regulations, such as FAR25 / CS 25.
 Certification and Design approval – provide the required Substantiations in accordance with
the Certification Program and fulfil the Certification and Design Approval process with the
Airworthiness Authorities.
 Design Engineering – Checking and approving of design data (drawings, accomplishment
instructions and technical reports).
 Act as deputy to the design office manager and take the lead with projects assigned keeping
to set deadlines.
 Assist the business in maintaining the currency and developing the DO processes relevant to
the scope of work.
 Travel occasionally at short notice.
 Carry out aircraft surveys and customer liaison when required.
 Be present and participate in regulatory audits.

Preferable degree in the field of Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, have an aviation
maintenance background, Minimum 7 years of experience as a Design Engineer in aircraft
modification, ideally minimum 3 years of previous experience as a cabin interiors Compliance
Verification Engineer.

The candidate must have an in depth knowledge of the aircraft to ensure they are able to foresee
any potential airworthy and practical problems during accomplishment.
The candidate must have detailed knowledge of general aviation legislation, and EASA Part 21
Supplemental Type Certification process and experience with non-European certification process.
They should be current with the mandatory EASA CVE training for their area of expertise (Cabin
Interior).

Package:

Percival Aviation offer a competitive package. salary based on experience, a bonus scheme,
pension scheme and holiday (20 days plus 1 per year of service to max of 5). Relocation package is negotiable.
